Costa Rica

Abyzhadwl (Aby) Prado, born in Costa Rica in 1966, moved to Argentina in 1987 to study at the Word of Life Bible Institute and embraced Christianity there. He married Gladys in 1990 and returned to Costa Rica to work with Word of Life Ministries for 11 years. Since 2001, Aby and Gladys have been involved in establishing local churches and guiding believers in their faith.

Gladys Justo, born in Argentina, became a Christian at the age of 8. She attended the same Bible institute as Aby in 1988, where they met. Following their marriage, she joined Aby in his religious work in Costa Rica. The couple is blessed with two children, Joel and Sophya.

Colombia

Joel Prado, 31, from Costa Rica, and Julieth Acuña , 24, from Colombia, married in 2021 and have a son, Timothy.

Their Christian faith is central to their lives.

Since 2014, they have been active in ministry in Colombia, focusing on youth, camping, and now leading a church plant while serving at the Training Point Bible Institute.

Their mission is to spread the Gospel through discipleship and biblical teaching, aiming to develop devoted believers. Joel encourages prayer support for their ministry, inspired by Romans 8:28.

Colombia

Nelson Rojas, born in Icononzo, Colombia, accepted Christ at age 8, while Leidy, born in Girardot, came to faith at 16.

Both studied business administration and married in 2011, having three children: MaJo (2014), Elías (2016), and Ezequiel (2020). Nelson trained at BBN Bible Institute (2012-2013), and both continued their biblical education through Training Point.

They serve in evangelism, student and sports camps, and a local church in Boquerón. Nelson pastors a church plant nearby and teaches at Training Point, where he also trains leaders in church planting.

MISSIONARY

Dominican Republic

Wilder Ricardo Otálora was born in Colombia and is 28 years old. He received Christ as his personal Savior in 2016 during an evangelical campaign. Since then, he has sought to grow in his relationship with God and serve him faithfully.

In 2020 he felt God's call to missionary service, with the desire to dedicate his life to the proclamation of the gospel and the advancement of His work. As part of that preparation, in 2023 he moved to the Dominican Republic to study at the Palabra de Vida Ministerial Training Center (CCM).

He currently continues to serve in the Dominican Republic, involved in the ministry of the local church, working with young people and children, and collaborating in the foundation of churches. In addition, he is engaged in marriage and has the desire to continue dedicating his life to the service of the Lord, reaching more people with the gospel of Jesus Christ and forming disciples for the glory of God.es here

Dominican Republic

Ps. Yhoander Frías, originally from a non-Christian home in the Dominican Republic, aspired to become a professional baseball player to lift his family out of poverty. However, his life took a turn for the worse in high school. 

A missionary family led by Abyzhadwl Prado introduced him to Christianity, and on October 14, 2008, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior. This marked a transformative period, leading him to serve in various ministries and plant churches. 

He studied theology and was ordained as a pastor four years later at Templo Bautista La Vía Church. 

In March 2014, he married Yajaida de la Cruz, and they have two sons, Johan and Jeremy. Currently, he serves as the senior pastor of two churches and seeks prayers for his family and ministry.

Dominican Republic

Like most of my country, I was not born in a Christian home, my fathers were idolatrous and practiced sorcery. And being in that environment, I thought I was fine with God, sometimes I visited the church and did good things.

And being in that condition I wanted GOD to give me a lot of things and I had a big void in my heart that I tried to fill it with parties, alcohol and much more. 

But on March 28, 2004 GOD made me understand that I was a lost sinner and needed to receive Christ as a savior for forgiveness of my sins. 3 years later I called the adapted pastor, I tried a WIFE and three children. Today we serve the Lord in our missionary Baptist church. In the Dominican Republic.

Nicaragua

Santiago Aguilar and his wife, Joseline Miranda, are originally from Nicaragua. They married in 2024 and have a daughter named Abigail. Santiago gave his life to Christ in 2005, and Joseline did so in 2016.

Both have received God's call to serve the local people and churches of Nicaragua, focusing on the areas of evangelism and discipleship.

Their mission is to preach the gospel and, through biblical discipleship, teach people what true change is all about—a change that can only be brought about by Christ.

Colombia

Julián Torres, 31, and Anggie Rincón, 29, live in Fusagasugá, Colombia. They have been married for 10 years and have a 7-year-old daughter, Eliana Torres Rincon.

Their faith in Christ and service to God are the fundamental pillar of their lives. They have been active in the ministry in Colombia for several years.

They currently serve in the El Camino Baptist Church, where they work in various ministries, focusing on working with men and women, working with passion to reach the heart of homes through the preaching of the gospel and intentional discipleship.

A few months ago they were officially entrusted as missionaries, a call they assume with the commitment to expand the Kingdom of God.

His family service is inspired by Joshua 24:15: "...but Me and my house will serve The Lord" with the firm goal of forming committed believers who love the Lord.

Dominican Republic

My name is Máxime Noel, and I serve as Pastor of the Iglesia Bautista Gran Bendición in San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic. I was born in a Christian home and at the age of 12 I received Christ in my heart as my sufficient Savior. 

I am married to my wife, Betania, and God has blessed us with seven children. As a family, we keep praying to God to remain in the gospel and wait for His coming. 

I have assumed ministerial responsibilities since November 19, 1987. For the glory and honor of God, I have come to found six churches in different places. I am currently working as a pastor and I am very grateful to God for the opportunity to belong to Mission Point Ministry as a missionary. My favorite biblical character is John and my favorite verse is Psalm 131.
